A combined class for all high schoolers and adults exploring and unpacking what healthy relationships look like in the family of God. We'll provide some roadmaps for bringing truth and love more intentionally into our relationships and consider some of the warning signs in unhealthy relationships.

Matthew 5:38-48 In a world where standing on our rights is the norm, the Gospel does the unexpected in launching a love offensive.

Philippians 1:12-14 Amidst many possible threats locally and globally that could hinder the advancement of the gospel, what can we learn from the Apostle Paul to help us press on in advancing the gospel.

Matthew 5:33-37 The sermon on the Mount continues the process of heart excavation as Jesus invites his followers to turn their attention to the words that we use.

Matthew 5:27-32 In a culture of self centered love that cannot satisfy, Jesus points his followers to a deeper, more beautiful love.

Matthew 5:21-26 As Jesus invites his followers on the journey of discipleship, he takes us deep into our own hearts for an honest look at anger.

Matthew 5:17-20 Jesus helps his followers understand both the overarching story of the scriptures as well as the desperate condition of our own hearts.

Matthew 5:13-16 Jesus moves out of the beatitudes and connects the rest of the Sermon on the Mount with two very familiar passages. Woven into Jesus’s statements are questions like, what does it mean to be salt and light? Can we lose our saltiness and luminescence? What are these all for? Jesus is interested in connecting his disciples to the Kingdom by showing them a life of living out the beatitudes. Join us as we explore what it looks like to be salt and light for the glory of God.
